An illuminated exterior sign works for your business 24/7. The most common illuminated storefront sign you see is called a raceway mounted channel letter set. Individual letters are mounted to a rectangular aluminum extrusion called a raceway that contain all the wiring for the letters, the LED power source, and limit the number of holes required to hang the sign. Channel letters components include the face, trim cap, and the return. Each component can be a different color to match your company logo.
Channel letters can be front lit, reverse lit, or have front and rear illumination. Rear illumination will cast a glow around the letters.
Cloud or contour sets are continuous letter sets that encompass all the letters or groups of letters together. For uniquely shaped logos, this is often a better solution than individual channel letters.
Pole and wall mounted light cabinets with changeable faces are also a very common illuminated exterior sign solution. These can be made from a flat rigid plastic material, a flexible banner like material, or a thermo-formed polycarbonate. With the thermo-formed faces, letters and graphics are embossed/project out from the background.

We have been working with Crossland Construction to do over a hundred signs around the park. We were then contacted directly by The Gathering Place a week before the opening to wrap an entire floor of the glass Boathouse building. They wanted the finish of the construction to remain hidden from public view while still announcing what this part of the building will be. We hopped on the chance to help!
The windows are covered in digital media from the inside. There are 10 windows that have the Vista at the Boathouse Coming Soon mirror cut (to read correctly from the outside) dark grey vinyl applied to the inside of the window, then covered with the digital media. Our installers had to work over Labor Day weekend to pull this off, but we were able to successfully finish the project 5 hours before the deadline.

A big part of a successful mural installation is setting realistic expectations with the client. We take photographs and detailed measurements then mock up the proposed sign/graphic/vehicle wrap to scale. This gets everyone on the same page from the beginning and gives our installers a clear set of instructions of how to complete the job in the field.
This is a textured surface vinyl applied to a concrete wall at McNellie’s in South Tulsa. Once completed, it gives the appearance that it is actually painted on the wall.
