Pop-A-Lock is growing and is shifting their fleet from the older Scion XB to the newer Jeep Renegades. On these smaller SUVs, you can wrap quite a bit of them without the cost per vehicle getting too high. This is an important consideration especially when you may have a dozen or more vehicles.

For a new company starting out, partial wraps are a great advertising investment. They offer a large visual impact without the expense of a full vehicle wrap. A successful vehicle wrap communicates three things quickly: who you are, what you do, and how to contact you. Adding more information can sometimes detract away from those three key points. If you want to add more information, we recommend utilizing the rear of the vehicle for that so people at stoplights can ingest it.

This enclosed trailer for Hogan Construction and Remodeling is what we would call a print and cut package. Some elements are printed, laminated, and contour cut out. Other elements are just cut vinyl. These can be very cost effective because you can cover a lot of real estate without the cost of wrapping every square inch of the vehicle or trailer.

Even though vehicle wraps have become more and more popular, cut vinyl graphics still have their place. They don’t offer as much creative freedom in the type of graphics you can use (no photographic elements for one) but they do offer one distinct advantage: they last longer. This is because of how the film is manufactured. Solid color graphic films have colored pigment all through the film. The color is actually embedded throughout the entire material whereas printed graphics embed the pigment in the top most layers of the film. This allows them to have a 7 to 8 year lifespan compared to a the 3-5 year lifespan of a printed film.
