Woody Guthrie – “King of the Boogie” John Lee Hooker

You know there’s a new exhibit at the Woody Guthrie Center in downtown Tulsa when the exterior window graphics change.  Known to music fans around the world as the “King of the Boogie,” John Lee Hooker.

To let the public know what the current, revolving exhibit is, we wrap four large exterior windows for them. We use a perforated vinyl that will still allow light to come into the museum and also allows people inside to still see out. The backside of the film has a gray adhesive and there are holes throughout so, to your eyes, it appears just like tint.

Philbrook Museum Tulsa – Making Modern America Exhibit Graphics

Wall murals are a great way to add a lot of visual impact to your retail location or, in this case, a museum space. Murals can be done on both interior and exterior walls. There are vinyl films designed for application on interior painted walls, glass windows, and even textured surfaces such as brick or concrete.

For the Making Modern America exhibit currently at Philbrook, we installed both full color wall murals and a combination of cut vinyl lettering and full color prints mounted to PVC panels. We pride ourselves in executing these projects with close attention to detail. The text is all individually cut out and spans over 20 feet long. Temporary registration marks were used to assure the timeline stayed level and the placement of the PVC prints lined up correctly.

Becco Contractors Tulsa Reflective Graphics Package

Reflective vinyl graphics look the same as traditional vinyl during the day, but really shine at night under lights! Reflective vinyls have microscopic glass beads suspended in the film that reflect light back towards the viewer’s eyes. This creates extra awareness and thus safety for vehicles that use them. Most police vehicles, fire department vehicles, and ambulances use reflective vinyl graphics for this reason.

Contractors such as Becco often use these on their support vehicles that may be offering assistance to a downed vehicle on the side of the road. To find out more about reflective vinyl graphics or other traditional vinyl graphics, give Precision Sign & Design a call today at 918-430-1102.

Tulsa Drillers ONE OK Field Window Graphics

The 2019 Tulsa Drillers Season is underway! Precision Sign & Design was contracted to use the art their designer created and turn it into this large window display at their Team Store. Perforated window graphics are a great way for business to attract attention to their business and cut down on some of the sunlight and heat that comes through them in the summer months.

Perforated film doesn’t block all the light and heat but does allow you to still see out from the inside. The backside of the film has a neutral grey adhesive so it looks just like tint from the inside – your vision go right through it! You’ll have to see it for yourself the next time you’re at ONE OK field.
